A successful general returns home from battle to live in luxury. He drinks, stops practicing his skills and leaves his weapons to rust. He is arrogant and self-assured. When the enemy once again attacks he finds himself unable to defend himself or the country.

You don't need to speak a word of Chinese to appreciate this. It isn't too difficult to understand what is going on, and the animation is a treat: nice & fluid, with an unusual color scheme compared to American cartoons. There's a beautiful traditional dance sequence about 8 minutes in; if you have a minute, it's worth a watch.
